Contests, prizes, reviews - you name it and the web has got it! There are a lot of promotions that are being listed on various websites these days, and a lot of them ask that you post a link to their website from your blog. I struggled with this for a while, because initially I didn’t think that these things would fit the theme of this blog. However, after much consideration I have come up with a way to showcase this information, and I will make it a new feature of My New Hustle. I call it the Hustle Hookup! Here’s how it works:
The Hustle Hookup will list various prizes, contest and promotions that are being offered on other websites. In addition to alerting my many readers about the different ways they can score an iPhone, PlayStation 3 or cold, hard cash, the Hustle Hookup will assist in giving the site owners of these promotions a plug to help build their site. Exposure is the key in almost any venture in life, and Da Hustler wants to do everything he can to give back!

When you think about it, these types of promotions are a hustle in themselves. Some people even make a living off of entering and winning contests! They take time though, and some may require a small investment, but if the chances are good, then I encourage any of my fellow hustlers to go get that money!
Now since this is the inaugural edition of the Hustle Hookup, let me start by hooking these site owners up with some link love! You can participate as well, and here are the instructions:
#Start copy here#
The idea is simple: You want readers and you want links back too because that’s all us bloggers want, it’s more precious than AdSense for some! So how does it work? Simple! You just copy the list down below on your blog, hence creating links back for your blogging friends and then click the RSS feed link to subscribe to all of them. Then add yourself and up to 5 other bloggers and their feeds to the end of the list before you publish it on your own blog. Show your friends some link love! Just imagine if just 10 people would do this and then 10 more after them, that would get your blog 100 extra link backs and 100 extra feed subscribers! How cool is that?

Won’t this kind of link farming devalue the links and cause a sites PR rating to drop?
July 21st, 2007 @9:17 am
Very little PR is taken from the originating site, so that really isn’t a concern. The value in the number of links overshadows any negative hit on your PR. And you would be surprised at how quickly you see results!

I am interested in joining the link train. My only question would be if I join now, how do I get added to the original sites?

Fear not, oh esteemed hustlers! Another Hustle Hookup will be added with your information included. This will be a regular feature of the site, so be sure to spread the word so your fellow bloggers and readers can also jump on board!

Hello,
Thanks for the posting, but you have put up the wrong feed for our site. It should be http://wpadsensemastery.com/feed/ but not the current one.
Please amend it.
Thank you.

Lewis - it can raise your pagerank if you have none or a low one. Google’s reported to do the updates within the next week, so we have to stay tuned!
Make Mony - it most certainly does work, but it’s like anything else, you have to get in on the front end of it and ride the wave. Watch for my post on cracking the Technorati top 10,000 coming soon.
Steven - the article was meaning that you click the RSS feed on the person’s website, not that these link point to your RSS feed. None of these links point to an RSS feed.
