Here’s the deal: The site looks to be something like PayPal, where members can send money to each other for free. Also, once the money is sent, it’s in your Revolution account until you elect to send it to your bank account, send it to someone else, or maybe spend it at a participating merchant’s site.

The only “catch” I see is that this offer ends in less than a month (May 15th – extended from April 15), and you have to provide your social security number; however, since you eventually have to provide your bank account info, this is relatively harmless. The site uses most of the same security features found on the major banks’ websites, and accounts are issued by First Bank & Trust, SD, Member FDIC (which I do not believe PayPal is, so there’s added protection there too).

The promotion said it could take as long as 6-8 weeks, but Da Hustler received it in much less time. It pays to hustle!

No, really.

Well, the vast majority of you are still using Internet Explorer, maybe for personal reasons, maybe for lazy reasons, or maybe you believe that if you support Bill, he will send you one of his infamous chain letters. Well, I decided to show you Internet Explorer users what you are missing by continuing to use what is on your computer by default. The images below show screenshots taken of My New Hustle | Make Money Online when viewed in both browsers. The correct display is shown in Firefox, on the left, and the inconsistencies are shown in Internet Explorer, on the right. So if you Internet Explorer users thought I had a half-done/half thought about website, well, as with blue screens on your computer, you’ll have to blame that one on Bill.

When I arrived, I was the 30th person in line (give or take). I later learned that someone got there at 3 pm and was was in for a 12+ hour wait (It just wasn’t that serious for me). There were still spots available on up fo 7 am in the morning, which didn’t really make me happy because I could have been in the bed SLEEP until then, but of course if I did that then EVERYONE would have showed up early and got my spot, so c’est la vie on that one. The promo said to get there by 8 am, but they didn’t open the store until 9 am. While we were waiting for the opening festivities, the local radio station was the first media people on the scene, followed by a local TV station shortly thereafter. They went through the line and gave us donuts and coffee, and also did some interviews. Normally it would have been cool, but I know I was looking dapper/silly in my bathrobe, so it’s not a moment I want to see rebroadcast over and over again.

When the doors finally opened, they let people in 5 at a time to activate the service, so it took an additional hour just to get to the door (even though I was ~30 feet away!). All in all, it was definitely worth it, and the plan is simply AMAZING!! I apologize to all of you out there because I didn’t READ the full details of the promo (even though I did supply links to it), and didn’t correctly advertise all of the benefits. This is what I received:

HOT of the presses! This promo dropped yesterday, so I wanted to let all of you out there in on the scoop.

T-Mobile has a special going on that promotes their new T-Mobile @ Home add-on plan. Here’s how it works: you will be able to make UNLIMITED domestic calls while at home and at T-Mobile HotSpots. The service uses a special phone and a wireless router in order to access the service. Kinda cool huh?

So some will wonder “How in the heck does this benefit me?!” I wondered the same thing, but here’s the benefit: not only can you DOWNGRADE your plan if you have an expensive one (the minimum is $39.99 though, don’t go lower than that), but you will have better reception at home as well! So if you have shotty service in your home, or if the signal is weak because you live in a remote area or high up in a building with thick walls, then this is for you.

Of course, the caveat is that you will have to get T-Mobile service if you don’t already have it, and because it’s an add-on, it costs $9.99 and as stated before, you have to have a plan that is $39.99 or higher. Here are the pros and cons as I see it:

Pros:

• Better reception at home
• UNLIMITED domestic calls
• You can also access this feature at any T-Mobile HotSpot
• Lowers your monthly bill if you have an expensive plan already

Cons:

• You have to be a T-Mobile customer
• You have to purchase a phone ($49.99 or higher) and router ($120 according to the representative I spoke to yesterday)
• There are only two phone options available at launch time (Nokia 6086, above left, and Samsung T409, above right)
• Talking on the phone at a T-Mobile HotSpot is a crazy idea to me, especially since most of them are located in typically QUIET places, like a cafe or bookstore (use your whisper voice I guess)

So since the pros pretty much equal the cons, why did I even bother to make this post? Am I crazy? (don’t answer that, lol)

Well here’s the REAL scoop. Remember in the title when I said you could get free service for a year? I wasn’t joking! In cities all across the U.S., T-Mobile has a promotion where if you go to the selected store at 8 am on Tuesday, July 3rd wearing a bathrobe (to symbolize being “at home”, get it?) and are one of the first 100 people, you can get the phone, the router, and the add-on service FREE for one year! So now not only do you get all the pros, but you can have peace of mind knowing that you don’t have to pay for this stuff for a year. Not bad!

Just make sure you don’t wear your “holy” bathrobe, or the one that you’ve held onto since you were 10. This is NOT a Jerry Springer moment!!
